Saturday headliners announced!

We are pleased to welcome back the amazing Sulpher who will be gracing the Planet Grunt Stage on Saturday 12th September.

After nearly a decade touring the planet as members of The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Prodigy, Marilyn Manson, Curve's live band, Sulpher has regrouped to commit another sonic assault on the nation’s music venues.

The four-piece were voted ‘Best British Heavy Metal Band’ by Metal Hammer magazine and previously played to 14,000 fans a night in support of Manson.

Started by multi-instrumentalist Rob Holliday and Monti in the early part of 2000, Sulpher presents a distinctly gritty style of industrial alternative rock, paying homage to the legendary Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson, while mixing the experimental sounds of such groups as Curve and The Prodigy.

These Septic Stars

These  Septic Stars are an experimental alternative 5 piece homegrown on the  south coast of the United Kingdom. The 5 endeavour to create fusions of  sound in their songwriting, sometimes being compared to the likes of  Rage Against the Machine, Primus, Incubus and Limp Bizkit.

Their instrumental sound is a blend of various metal stylings, heavy  funk, energetic progressive structuring and finished off with electronic  sampling to create a somewhat modern approach alternative music. The  vocal aspect of the band lays heavy with accent laced rap, higher tones  and just enough screaming to keep things balanced on their take on  alternative style.

Over the past 4 years the band have seen multiple tours with live EDM  Goliaths UKID, major UK festival appearances, countless support slots  with major acts from across the globe and headline slots in notorious  venues and clubs across the counties.

Catch them on the main stage at The Road to Ruin 2020 on Sunday 13th September.

The Self-Titled.

The Self Titled are one of the UK's most prolific new Rock & Metal bands on the scene. Hailing from Kent, they have played Bloodstock 2014 where the band headlined the New Blood Stage and The Bulldog Bash 25th Anniversary (UK Aug 2011) who they played alongside Status Quo, The Damned and Gun. The Self Titled has now played The Bulldog Bash 4 times including the 30th Anniversary in 2016. “..The muscular rawness that chugs you into moments of pure ecstasy” -Rebecca Rayner-KERRANG! KKK

Tokyo Taboo.

‘It’s a brave move to combine an already new sound with pole dancing. There are obvious pitfalls, the accusations of gimmickry and that it’s all a diversion to hide musical flaws. The run here is that the music is full on fresh, a blast of attic air into the stuffy old halls of punk rock. Dolly has quite an astonishing voice too, holding onto notes that would see mere mortals turn blue and fall...’ Devolution Magazine

Across the rock, gothic and electronic music scenes there emerges a condensed and redesigned dance music. Within this movement comes the unique fusion genre known as Industrial Gothic Dark Trance. At its forefront are KROW & The Electric Temple. KROW & The Electric Temple’s show hits hard and deep on an emotional level. Captivating and absorbing as it is exhilarating and energising; the show is emotionally empowering in a cathartic sense. Built on 140bpm and underlaid with brutal synthesizer licks and featuring a fully choreographed stage show, KROW’s compelling ‘unhinged, enjoyably abrasive energy’ and rich rock-operatic vocal style perfectly completes the entire experience. KROW & The Electric Temple are THE anarchic alternative dance band with energy! Critically-acclaimed vocalist and pagan rave sensation KROW is the current incarnation of Julie, the lead singer in the, once headline grabbing, infamous shock band, Rockbitch. Citing the likes of The Prodigy, Knife Party, Underworld, Tool and Skunk Anansie as her influences, KROW brings something new and surprising to the U.K. music scene. KROW bids you bear witness to a whole new kind of Electronic Hedonism & NoiseTerror.
